2007 Hallmark Ornament - 1964 1/2 Mustang Kiddie Car Classic Special Edition

In 2015 Hallmark re-introduced the Kiddie Car Classics collection. Each design was offered in two sizes - ornament and tabletop sizes. These items were offered as Hallmark Gold Crown
exclusives.

This 2007 Limited Quantity Hallmark Ornament is a colorway (or repaint) of the 2006 Kiddie Car Classic #13 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang.

In 1964, the sporty new Mustang was the hottest car on the street, and "Mustang mania" was sweeping the nation. Even kids were invited to share the fun as pedal car versions began appearing alongside their larger counterparts at Ford dealerships across the country. Although the full-size car still holds the record for the most first-year automobile sales, the Mustang pedal car sold a staggering 93,000 units that Christmas, making it the toy sensation of the season and one of the most popular kiddie cars ever.
