StangStuff owner Jon Schultz has been a part of the Mustang hobby since 1987, when he bought his first classic Mustang - a 1967 Coupe. In 1992 he bought a bunch of parts in bulk to save money on his and some friend's restorations. Taking the leftover parts to the Long Beach & Pomona Swap Meets, he found a lot of other SoCal Mustang owners looking for parts. "Jon's Mustang" was born, and quickly grew into the largest Mustang seller at either swap meet. Soon after, home delivery was offered and Jon's Mustang was in business until 1998.
In 1996, along with 13 other Mustang owners, Jon co-founded the Beach Cities Mustang Club. The club attracted over 200 members in the first 12 months, and is currently one of the largest Mustang clubs in the Nation (www.bcmc.net). Soon after starting the club, Mustangs at the Queen Mary was started and is now the largest Mustang show in the state of California (the show was renamed Ponies at the Pike in 2014).
In 2003, Jon purchased 500 "I Want a Pony" babydoll shirts on a closeout from Sears. He put these and a few Mustang sales brochures on eBay. The shirts were a hit, so more designs were added. Getting serious in 2007, StangStuff was founded. Today, StangStuff offers 100s of styles of shirts, jackets and other apparel (not all designs are on our new website yet). Recently, StangStuff has expanded to include all sorts of Mustang & Ford branded gifts and novelties. Signs, tool boxes, barware and even Mustang-themed pinball machines and golf carts have been added to the offerings. Many more items are planned for the near future. Be sure to keep checking back!
