Officially dubbed the "Mini Lil' Classic Cars 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 2024 Metal Ornament," this new piece is on the smaller side thanks to its measurements of 2.0 inches by 0.7 inches by 0.5 inches, but it's an impressively detailed piece, regardless. The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Christmas tree ornament is made from metal and was designed by an artist known as Orville Wilson, and it comes complete with a hanger attachment, as one would expect.

Additional details include wheels that actually spin, coupled with all of the famous styling cues we're familiar with on the Boss 429 - including a hood scoop, its fastback design, pony emblems, and a "2024" license plate to signify the year it was made available as part of the Hallmark Keepsakes Ornament collection. It comes packaged in a special box, so it's easy to gift to that pony car fan in one's life - or just to stow away as a collectible.

The Ford Mustang Boss 429 is easily one of the most special and highly-coveted pony cars ever produced, and was produced in small quantities as The Blue Oval was working to homologate its powerplant for NASCAR racing purposes. In total, only around 1,300 were produced across the 1969 and 1970 model years, and today, nicer examples routinely sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, celebrated for their special powerplants. In fact, the Boss 429 featured four-bolt main caps, a forged steel crank, forged steel connecting rods, and aluminum cylinder heads with a semi-hemispherical type combustion chamber, helping it churn out a reported 375 horsepower.
